Portscanner scans the selected host for open TCP ports and displays network services and their output, if any. Read timeout for collecting output from open ports is configurable by the user. Hostnames or IP addresses may be used. A range of ports may be selected, defaulting to 1-1024. A progress bar indicates scan progress. Scan results, including captured text, can be selected for copy to clipboard. This is a simple tool for network administrators or home users to quickly confirm running services, perform simple security audits, or troubleshoot connectivity issues. Please note that scanning hosts that don’t belong to you without permission is generally considered poor etiquette, and may be prohibited by your service provider’s terms of service. Obtain permission before using this on networks for which you are not the administrator.

Requires Android 2.0 or later. Default layout is compatible with tablets (see screenshots). Tablet-optimized layouts coming soon.
